We want you, to borrow and wear these fabulous fashions care-free with a Bindaas attitude! Simply CHOOSE what you like from a wide range of stunning sarees and accessories, BORROW it for that special occasion that you’ve been waiting for, and RETURN it or simply BUY it if you love it!
How do I become a Borrow It Bindaas member?
Borrow It Bindaas membership is free. Simply go to the home page and click Log-In. From there you will be prompted to either sign in with an existing user name and password or create an account. You also have the convenient option of signing in through your facebook account.
Click on the link that says forgot my password and you will be prompted to enter your email address where we will send you a new password.
How do I borrow from Borrow It Bindaas?
By following these simple steps, it has never been easier to Borrow It Bindaas:
1) BROWSE: Digitally thumb through our expansive collection of sarees and accessories using our easy to browse website.
2) SELECT: Select your preferred Saree and/or accessory. Once you’ve made your Saree and/or accessory selection you’ll be asked to specify your preferred blouse size. You will then be prompted to select the dates you would like your item(s) to arrive. Then click on Add to Cart and you will be taken through our simple Check Out process in which you will be prompted to enter your shipping and billing information.
3) FLAUNT: You will receive your Saree and/or accessory from us with a Bindaas Kit. Flaunt your beautiful Saree and/or accessory at your special event!
4) RETURN: Each order from Borrow It Bindaas will arrive with a pre-paid, pre-addressed envelope. After you’ve worn the Saree and/or accessory, place your Saree and/or accessory in this return envelope and simply drop it off to any UPS store or UPS authorized retailer.
What is a Bindaas Kit and how do I use it?
As a token of our appreciation, we gift all of our first time borrowers with a Bindaas Kit! A Bindaas Kit, is a kit with all the essentials and added extras to make your borrowing experience seamless! We include all of the essentials to make you Saree ready: safety pins, bindis, and even a special surprise token of appreciation from the Borrow It Bindaas team! We also include an instructional guide of how to drape a saree as well as an optional comment card which you can fill out and send back to us with your return. Even after your first rental, whenever you rent from Borrow It Bindaas you will still receive the essentials and other bonus goodies from our team!
When should I make my reservation?
Generally we recommend to make your reservation a few weeks in advance of your event so you can get your top picks! We also suggest that when selecting your dates, select your start date for your borrowing period 1-2 days before your actual event. This way you’ll have your items well in advance and won’t have to worry about scrambling for an outfit the day of your special event!
How long can I borrow a Saree and/or accessory for?
You have the option of borrowing a Saree and/or accessory for 5 days or 10 days. Your borrowing period will begin from the date your order arrives, which is the day you chose on the calendar when selecting your saree and/or accessory. For example, if you select a Saree and/or accessory for a 5 day borrowing period and you choose for it to be delievered to you on Monday (start date), you would have to return the Saree to us by Friday (end date) by noon, which is the 5th day of your borrowing period. Your return envelope for your Saree and/or accessory will be postmarked by noon on the last day of your borrowing end date. If you would like to borrow a Saree and/or accessory for longer than 10 days, no problem, email us at help@borrowitbindaas.com and we can quote you for a longer rental period.
My borrowing period ends on a Sunday what should I do?
No problem, we’ve got you covered! If your borrowing period falls on a Sunday please drop your return envelope to any UPS or any authorized UPS retailer that day itself. Your package will then be postmarked for the next business day. By dropping your package off that day, it will ensure us that we receive it back on time and you won’t incur any late fees.
My borrowing period ends on a national holiday what should I do?
No problem, we’ve got you covered! If your borrowing period falls on a national holiday please drop your return envelope to any UPS or any authorized UPS retailer the very next day before noon when the stores are open. By dropping your package off that day, it will ensure us that we receive it back on time.
How do I know my order will arrive in time?
We at Borrow at Bindaas, will do everything we can to ensure you Saree and/or accessory arrives before you special event. We have partnered up with UPS to ensure that you have a tracking number to track your package. Keep in mind to book your Saree and/or accessory borrow start date 1-2 days before the actual event itself to further ensure you have your Saree and/or accessory in time for your special event.
What if the borrower before me returns the Saree and/or accessory late or damanged and I am not able to get the Saree and/or accessory of my choice?
Should this situation arise, we will personally notify you in advance, and assist you with alternative options, at the borrowing price you have already paid for.
You must contact customer service right away at help@borrowitbindaas.com or call us at (888)-993-7623. If your cancellation is within 30 days of your borrow start date, then you will receive store credit. If its 30 days before your rental date, then we can issue a full refund. Please note if your order is already is in transit, we cannot issue a cancellation of your order.
How do I ensure the Saree blouse that I borrow fits?
Our saree enthusiasts want to make sure you look and feel fabulous for your event. When selecting your size, you will be able to choose according to your bust size and US dress size. Your bust size is the measurement under your arms around your chest. Bust size is not your bra size. We have correlatd which bust size best equates which US dress size for your convenience. We will also provide you with a second free back-up blouse to ensure that one of the blouses provided fits you. A back up blouse is a second optional blouse that we send with your order when you borrow a saree from us. We send this back up blouse to you for FREE. You can choose your preferred back-up blouse size while placing your order and we will send you a back up blouse that best matches the Saree that you have borrowed.
How do I ensure the Saree blouse that I purchase fits?
We at Borrow it Bindaas want you to be able to wear you gorgeous Saree, immediately-without having to worry about going out and finding a tailor to stitch you a blouse and then have to wait even longer to be able to wear your Saree. As an added service, so you can wear your Saree instantly, we will have your blouse stitched for you according to the size you choose. We will also leave some margin inside the blouse for you, just in case you may want to adjust the size.
A petticoat is a drawstring underskirt that is worn before putting the actual saree on. The petticoat holds the saree up and gives the saree structure on your body. A petticoat comes in two sizes-regular and long. Sizing is determined by your height. A regular petticoat fits women that are between 5’0-5’4. A long petticoat fits women that are 5’5 and above. Once your Saree order is placed, as an added service we will send you a personalized email asking you what your preferred petticoat size is. Please keep in mind if you are wearing heels with your Saree to add those inches to your height, when deciding between a regular and long peticoat. For example: if your height is 5’4 but you will be wearing 3inch heels with your Saree, your best bet would be to request a long petticoat as your height will be 5’7.
How do I know my saree is clean?
We don’t ship anything unless it has been dry cleaned, and checked thoroughly by our quality control team. Borrow It Bindaas has specifically partnered up with a dry-cleaning team who specialize in dry cleaning Sarees to ensure each of our Sarees are in like-new condition. Each saree goes through a strict dry cleaning and quality control process before it is ready to be borrowed again. The Borrow It Bindaas team makes sure that our saree's and accessories are in excellent condition before we make them available for borrowing and we make no compromise on our quality of products.
How do I know my accessories are clean?
All of our accessories are hand cleaned and sanitized by our specialized team who take extra care in ensuring that every detail and piece is cleaned and sanitized ready for the next borrow. For your own peace of mind we wil provide a sanitzing wipe and extra earring backings when sending you accessories.
What if I accidentally stain and/or damage the Saree and/or accessory?
No need to panic! We completely understand that some wear and tear is bound to happen. Our team of dry cleaners and seamstresses are able to take care of most minor damages for Sarees and we understand that with accessories there are chances of losing a backing, or a stone falling out etc. The $5.00 insurance charge fee for Sarees and the $3 Insurance fee for accessories covers you for these types of instances. If there is significant damage that goes beyond wear and tear, your credit card will be charged with the repair charge or full replacement fee that is estimated by us
What if I want to keep the Saree and/or accessory that I borrrow?
Borrow it Bindaas offers our members the ability to buy and borrow from our online boutique. However, you cannot buy a Saree and/or accessory that you have currently borrowed and is in your possession. You must return the item at your rental end date and once the item is back on the site, you are welcome to purchase the product if available for purchase. We want to ensure that the product is available to the next customer that may have ordered the same product for borrowing.
What if the Saree and/or accessory that I want to purchase has been borrowed before?
If the Saree and/or accessory that you would like to purchase has been borrowed before, depending on the condition of the item the purchase price will lower. We at Borrow it Bindaas will be constantly updating our purchase prices on the site in accordance to the number of rentals for each individual product. Please kindly note that we only keep products available on our site that are new or in like new condition, we make no compromise on the quality of our products.
How do I add accessories to an order that I already placed for borrowing?
Simple! Go ahead and place a new order and reserve them on the same dates as your Saree, and you’ll receive both at the same time!
Can I borrow accessories alone or do I have to rent them with a Saree?
Of course you can rent accessories alone. We understand that sometimes you just need to add a little bling to that LBD. So borrow away!
What if I borrow accessories with my Saree and I have to return my Saree early because it doesn’t fit?
You may keep the accessories for your borrowing period and return them at your borrow end date.
How will my order be delivered?
All of our Saree’s and/or Accessories are sent via UPS. Once you have checked out and placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email from Borrow It Bindaas and from UPS.com with your tracking number, confirming that your order has been shipped.
Shipping costs vary according to your zip code. We at Borrow it Bindaas try and choose the least expensive shipping option via UPS. At the check out stage, the shipping rate is calculated based on your zip-code. In addition to the shipping rate, a $5.00 handling fee and Insurance fee wil itemized. Please note the insurance rate of Sarees is $5 and for accessories is $3. What if I want my package delivered to a hotel or location other than my residence?
As long as you input the right address of where you want your order to be shipped to, we can ship your package anywhere. If you are shipping to a hotel: please put the hotel name where you would put the company name and address it to the person under whichever name you have booked your hotel reservation under. If your prefered delivery location is not your residence or a hotel, please let someone at that location know to expect a package from Borrow It Bindaas. Addresses must be accurate. We do not ship to any locations such as P.O. Boxes.
Do you deliver outside the continental United States?
At this time, we do not offer shipping outside the U.S. Also, our orders are not permitted to be returned to us outside the continental United States.
1) After you have enjoyed wearing your saree or accessory, returning it is simple and quick! Securly pack the items and place it in the pre-paid, pre-addressed return envelope.
2) Just drop your envelope to the nearest UPS Store or any authorized UPS retailer on the last day of your rental before noon. For your convenience we will provide a list of the closest drop off locations in your area. We make it easy for you, and by following these simple steps you’ve officially Borrowed it Bindaas!
What if I return my order late?
Please inform us at help@borrowitbindaas.com or call us at (888)-993-7623, as soon as this happens to avoid being charged late fees. Should a Saree and/or accessory not be returned within the pre-determined date, we reserve the right to charge your card accordingly. Should you return products late, you will incur a late fee of $75 dollars for every day after your pre-determined return date, on top of the initial rental fee that is already charged. Should the item be missing for an extended period of time or forever, you agree to pay late fee, the rental fee, and up to the 3X retail price in full. Should you pay these fees and continue to posses this product, it is yours to keep, though without any guarantee or warranty and on an “as is” basis. The limitations of this clause shall not apply to the rental fee, which is charged separately.
What if I misplace/lose my return shipping envelope?
We at Borrow It Bindaas offer you free return shipping by providing you with a pre-paid return envelope each time you borrow with us as well as instruction for use and a list of the nearest drop off locations based on your address. Should you lose this return packaging, you will be responsible for returning the item at your own expense and providing Borrow it Bindaas with a tracking number by emailing help@borrowitbindaas.com or calling (888) 993-7623.
Return, Exchange, & Credit Policies for Borrowed and Purchased Items.
Should an item not fit correctly, or be displeasing for any reason, please contact us immediately at help@borrowitbindaas.com and or call us at (888)-993-7623, so that we may fix the problem by either exchanging the Saree, issuing you credit, or issuing you a refund.
Borrowed Sarees: If the Saree is borrowed and you would like to return it for any reason, you may qualify for an exchange or credit for the borrowing price of your Saree. The Saree must be undamaged, unworn, and unwashed as determined by Borrow it Bindaas. Keep a copy of your order invoice and securely package the Saree, blouses, and petticoat in the provided, pre-paid, pre-addressed envelope for return within 24 hours of receipt of the item. Once we receive the return envelope, we will send you either send you your exchange or process your credit. This credit you receive when returing your borrowed item does not include the original shipping fee and the handling fee. In order to receive store credit please make sure the return envelope is sent to us within 24 hours of your supposed borrowing start date.
Purchased Sarees: If the Saree is purchased and you would like to return it for any reason, you may qualify for a full refund or credit for the purchase price of your Saree. The Saree must be undamaged, unworn, and unwashed as determined by Borrow it Bindaas. Keep a copy of your order invoice and securely package and send us the items (Saree, blouses, and petticoat) within 48 hours of receipt of the item so you are able to qualify for a full refund. If the item is returned to us within 15 days of receipt of your item, you may only qualify for credit, provided that the item is undamaged, unworn, and unwashed as determined by Borrow It Bindaas. We will refund and/or credit the shipping expense you have incurred when sending the item back to us. Please keep a record of the shipping costs incurred, so that we may refund you accordingly. The refund and credit you receive when returning purchased items does not include the original shipping fee and the handling fee. We will notify you within 5-7 business days when your refund and/or credit has been processed.
Borrowed and Purchased Accessories: Unfortunately, Borrow it Bindaas is unable to offer credit, exchanges, or refunds on accessories. If you feel that your accessory has been damaged when you receive it, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of your order at help@borrowitbindaas.com or call us at (888)-993-7623 so that we may fix the problem.
